We want someone who loves working with children and who can teach a broad age range effectively and in a fun manner. Youth Instructor Duties:
  • Demonstrates, instructs, and actively supervises participants during youth climbing and related activities.
  • Responsible for assisting, supporting, and reporting directly to the Youth Programs Coordinator.
  • Maintains a safe and secure environment for all participants.
  • Uses appropriate disciplinary techniques with participants and logs all incidents.
  • Accurately keeps daily attendance and maintains necessary records.
  • Effectively interacts and communicates with parents, supervisor, co-workers and participants.
  • Accounts for and maintains all supplies and equipment.
General Qualifications:
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service to participants in the program, as well as, to members and guests of Summit Everett.
  • Ability to communicate effectively when enforcing policies, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to work with parents.
  • Ability to manage time.
  • Ability to evaluate conditions in assigned area and make judgments related to safety.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution skills.
Specific Qualifications:
  • Experience working with all ages of children.
  • Knowledge of sports and coaching/teaching.
  • Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications preferred.
  • Knowledge of injury prevention and treatment.
  • Knowledge of warm-up and physical conditioning.
Wage: $12.00/hour

Hours: Part-time, 8-24 hours per week, must be able to work weekends

Front Desk Staff Member


  • Greet and check-in members and guests
  • Give facility orientations and belay checks
  • Operate cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Maintain knowledge of gym programs and products
  • Answer phones, take messages, schedule groups, parties, students for classes/events
  • Maintain a clean and organized gym environment for all customers and staff
  • Teach beginning and intermediate climbing classes based on experience and skill


$12.00/Hour, depending on experience

We provide training and pay raises to those staying with us, as well as opportunities to teach classes and work youth programs as you gain the necessary skills and qualifications to do so.

Hours: ​

Part-time hours available, 15-20 hours/week, evening and weekend availability.


Applicants must have a strong work ethic, must be efficient and able to work on a reliable schedule. Applicants should have a positive attitude, be quick problem solvers, and work well with others. Previous climbing experience is desired, but we seek to find staff who are willing to learn and further develop their customer service and overall climbing skills. We are a small team so flexibility and a strong desire to work are a must. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite beneficial.
